Let's get to know Studio 22 owners, Sergey and Michelle! When we asked what inspired them to learn how to dance, they said...

Sergey: "The song (and the dance that came with it) Lambada by Kaoma. I was about 7 years old when it made it to Russia and I could not stop watching the music video, dancing to it, and pretending I was the boy in the music video 😂"

Michelle: "Music, hands down. I've always loved moving my body to music. At age 10 I would gather all the girls on my neighborhood street, teach them choreography, dress them up, do their hair and make-up, and then perform routines with them! I started dancing at the age of four, but I didn't get into partner dancing until later in life. For me, the music and art of finding that true connection with a partner is what inspires me most."
